Tyler Side Mounts are manually operated, three axis (Pan, Tilt & Roll), passively gyro stabilized systems. Viewing is direct through the eyepiece, with the perspective of a passenger in a helicopter while looking out a side window. Side Mounts have a usable focal length range of approximately 17mm to 250mm (35mm film format) for all film and video formats.
Tyler Middle Mount II
Vibration isolated camera platform. Mounts out of the right or left side of a Bell Jet Ranger or Aerospatiale Helicopter. Designed to capture the side aerial perspective. Typical side mount applications are: air to ground, air to air, tracking, and circling buildings. The Tyler Middle Mount is equipped with Zoom and Focus controls for film and video cameras up to 45lbs.

Same as the above Middle Mount, now with three axis gyro assist. The gyro's artifically increase the mass of the mount. This allows for increased focal length, and slower/ smoother shots.
